commands offered in the mouse menu.  Each will be referenced by a 
menu selection name, sub-menu name and then the function.  Below 
is an example:

 Erase Text

 Sentence

To use this command simply place the cursor anywhere in the 
sentence you want to erase and select the command.  The sentence 
will be blocked, erased, and block markers removed.

 Paragraph

This command works exactly the same as the Erase Sentenance 
command except it will erase an entire paragraph.

 Page Layout

 Paginate document

This command can be executed from anywhere within the document.  
It will go to the top of a document and paginate the entire 
document.  After it is completed paginating it will return the 
cursor to the top of the document.

 Spelling

 Entire file

This command can be selected from anywhere within a document.  It 
will go to the top of the document and spell check the document.  
When the spelling is completed the cursor will be at the end of 
the document.

 Windows

 Set window full/half page

These two commands are actually WordStar commands except that the 
values do not have to be entered by you.  This command is set up 
differently if you are using the 43 line vs the 25 line mouse 
menu. A very convenient way to edit two documents but sill get a 
full screen of text.  Remember you can keep track of which 
document you are in from the status line.

 Convert to document

This command will convert ALL hard returns to soft returns.  This 
command function from the current cursor position to the end of 
the document.  When it is completed the cursor will be at the end 
of the document.  You should go to the top of the document, turn 
AUTO ALIGN OFF (this is very important) the go to the end of each 
paragraph and hit the enter key to put back the hard return.  
After you have completed the entire document that way turn the 
Auto Align back on and Paginate the entire document.

 Strip bit - file (NON)

This command can be executed from anywhere within the file (non-
document) and it will go to the top off the file and strip all 
the high bits from the file, replace soft return with hard 
return.  If you select this in a document file it will simply 
repaginate the document.

This command will issue the '.HM0' command along with the '.H2' 
command.  This eliminates the extra step for you.

This command can be selected from anywhere within the sentence.  
It will block the entire sentence for you and place the cursor 
at the end of the sentence.

This command blocks from the cursor position to the end of the 
paragraph, leaving the cursor at the end of the paragraph.

This command works identical to the Block sentence command except 
it block the entire paragraph.

This command can be selected from anywhere within the text.  It 
simply removes the  block markers from the text.  It leaves the 
cursor where the end-of-block marker was located.

this command puts up a window with a condensed set of 
instructions for using the mouse menus.

 Column Block

 Remove markers

This command can be selected from anywhere within the text.  It 
removes both block markers and leaves the cursor where the end-
of-block marker was located.

Users should also be aware that all of the menu command that 
place a dot command in your text will automatically place the 
cursor to the left margin, print the dot command, and if you do 
not have to enter any value it will do another return.  If you 
are expected to enter a value with the dot command the cursor 
will be placed for you to enter the value. Some of the commands 
will go to the beginning of a paragraph (instead of the line 
above) enter the dot command and return you to  position you were 
when you selected the command.  Try the following command:

 Toggle justify

This will place the '.OJ ON' (assuming it was off when you 
selected the command) at the beginning of the paragraph and the 
place the cursor at the same position it was when you selected 
the command.

This means that you do not have to waste time moving the cursor 
before selecting dot commands.


The way you have the function keys set up can compilment the 
mouse menus.  Here are the recommended function key settings that
